DANGEROUS GOODS COURSES

From 1st January 2010 all training and assessment for the transportation of dangerous goods by road and rail must be provided by a registered training organisation. This is a change to the current training and licencing processes around Australia.
 
In January 2010 the College of Warehousing will be offering a unit of competency BTDGLIC001A Preparation and Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road [Based on the 7th Edition of the Australian Code for the Transport of dangerous Goods by Road and Rail ADG7].
 
Compliance with the legislation is important for anyone in the supply cycle from raw material manufacturer to the supplier of the finished goods. The legislation has been revised and updated to meet new requirements.
 
Course Content
  • Dangerous Goods Legislation
  • Packaging requirements/PPE
  • Safe Storage & Handlin /MSDS
  • Segregation, Ventilation, Spill Control
  • Ignition Sources, Placarding
  • Transportation/ Cosigning
  • Manage Emergencies
